The Midnight Narrative
A stills campaign shot alongside a feature production, working inside the film's existing lighting and finding the frames the second unit was not looking for.
Working as a stills photographer on an active set means inheriting someone else's light and staying out of the way. The constraint turned out to be generative: the strongest images came from the ninety seconds between a take ending and the crew resetting.
Working Process
The Unseen Work
We don’t just capture moments; we construct narratives through light, shadow, and rigorous preparation.
Role
Stills Photographer
Duration
11 Days
01
Discovery & Direction
Defining the visual language. We strip the idea down to its core emotion before building the storyboard.
02
Concept & Story
Location scouting and casting. Every variable is calculated to ensure the shoot day flows like jazz.
03
Production & Capture
Execution. Controlled chaos. We embrace the imperfections of the environment while adhering to the vision.
04
Refinement & Delivery
The edit, color grade, and sound design. This is where the atmosphere is truly solidified.
