Neon Silence
An editorial shot entirely between midnight and four in the morning, lit by whatever the street provided. Signage, shopfronts and wet tarmac carried the whole colour palette.
Meridian wanted a feature on the people who keep a city running after it empties out. We refused supplementary lighting for the entire run, which meant every location had to be scouted twice — once for the picture and once for what the neon would be doing at that hour.
